Grilled Mushroom Tempe Recipe

In pasrt of Indonesia tempe is a popular and simple dish. It’s ussually fried and become a common company to many other dish in Indonesia. Tempe is also a good source of protein, and a perfect vegetarian dish. Tempe is also easy to blend with other dishes and easyly cooked. Here’a an easy vegetarian recipe of how to make a Grilled Mushroom Tempe Recipe.

Servings for 6

Ingridients:

  • 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves of french shallot, slice thin
  • 2 cloves of garlic, slice thin
  • 5 piece of green chilis, cut 2 cm ( half an inch)
  • 300 grams (10.5 ounces) of tempe, diced and grill it
  • 3 tablespoon of Japanese soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce
  • 100 cc of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
  • 100 grams (3.5 ounces) of shitake mushroom

Directions:

  1. Fry the french shallots and garlics until they pale
  2. Add in the green chilis, stir until they’re pale
  3. Add in the tempe, soy sauce, pepper and water. Cook until boiled
  4. Pour in the mushrooms, cook until there’s no water left
  5. Take it, and serve.
